For the 1959-1960 season the players wore a Gopher on their left sleeve above the elbow.  The 1958-59 and the 1959-60 teams also wore a special patch to celebrate the Centennial Anniversary of the state of Minnesota.  This patch was worn above their number near the left shoulder.
