Gopher Players And The Stanley Cup |
|
As kids playing on the frozen lake or pond most hockey
players dream about winning the Stanley Cup and lifting it over their
head in victory.
Over the years of Gopher history many Gopher players have gone on to
play in the NHL. It seems each year that more Gopher players
are being drafted by NHL teams. They're all one step closer
to the dream of someday winning the Stanley Cup. There is no
greater achievement to a professional hockey player.
In the history of Gopher hockey there have been 13 players that have won the Stanley Cup and fulfilled the dream
they had as a child.
