For the 1992-93 season the WCHA changed it's playoff format to include five teams viaing to be the playoff champion. Alaska-Anchorage would be a full member school for the 1993-94 season, but the school was allowed to participate in the leagues playoffs during the 1992-93 season.
The Gophers have made it to the WCHA Final Five 18 times since the 1992-93 season. Below are the Gophers regular season record and league finish.
